Overberg MTB Events is proud to be presenting the Western Cape Cycling XCM Championships in association with Trail’s End Bike Hotel on the 1st of October 2022

Venue: Elgin Grabouw Country Club

Riders will have the opportunity to traverse through the exclusive trails of Paul Cluver, as well as the Oak Valley and Grabouw Forest Trails. This is the perfect race in preparation for the W2W race in November.

Registration at Trail’s End on Friday from 4-8pm on Sept 30, and late registration at Elgin/Grabouw Country Club on Saturday, 1 Oct from 6-7h30am. We have exciting Gin Tasting from L-Gin lined up to get the adrenalin going at Trail’s End, as well as fabulous spectator and water points at Paul Cluver and Oak Valley Estates. Supporters and friends can book breakfast or lunch at the exquisite Cluver Family restaurant at Paul Cluver restaurant ; or lunch at The Melting Pot restaurant at Oak Valley. This promises to be a sellout, so make sure you secure your booking prior to the event.

Riders entered for the 83km and 51km will receive a bottle of Paul Cluver and Oak Valley Wine with their entry.

The Start and Finish on Saturday will be at Grabouw Country Club. Parking will be indicated just outside of the Country Club. There will be food stalls and a Bar service at The Country Club available, so stay for the gees!

The Western Cape XCM Cup Series will consist of 5 events. A rider must compete in a minimum  3 out of the 5 events of the  XCM Series, to qualify for a final position on the log.

In order for a rider to qualify for Provincial Colours in the XCM Championships he/she must have competed in a minimum 3 out of the 5 XCM Series events..
