A bright and shiny new decade lies ahead – and so does our Pink Sunflower Swim 2020 – No 5!!

Our swim is on Saturday 7th March this year, warmly and generously hosted by the fabulous Paul Cluver team once again.  We responsibly recce’d our dam, the setting spectacular, the water warm, and beautiful blue cranes keeping a close eye, so we’re all good.
(We know the CT Cycle Tour is on Sunday 8th, hoping any cyclists will be tapering by then, and a gentle stretchy swim just the pre-race ticket.)

Hard to believe this is our fifth PSS, we’ve raised R342,000 over the past four years, making a real difference to our two charities, Project Flamingo (breast cancer) and The Sunflower Fund (leukaemia).  Tempting to aim for R100k again this year, but we’re shooting for the stars with a stretch of R158k, which would take us to an amazing R500k in five swims.

If we can dream it, we can do it!!

A reminder re our very simple PSS rules

–         Entry is free – just raise R2,000 for our charities, your old-style sponsorship form is attached

–         It is not a race, it’s a no-pressure fun swim, at your own pace, with or without a wetsuit, or flippers, or anything else you might think you need

–         Distance is 1km, with a 500m lap for those that would prefer, and multiple laps for those who’d like

–         Participation is at own risk, however water safety will be provided, and medics in attendance
